Foreign language electives include Spanish and French A/B, Levels I and II.

Japanese Exploration is also available.

Instrumental music electives include Beginning Strings, Orchestra, Beginning Band, Advanced Band and Jazz Band. Students perform at the Winter Music Concert and at the Spring Music Concert every year.

Drama and Visual Art are also taught at Bret Harte.
